Strikes suck!

First, my beloved Office gets killed off due to the writer's strike. Now, every other show is coming dangerously close to running out of episodes. Which means there's going to be nothing new to watch on TV in forever. Oh, yeah, we get a few episodes of Lost that they completed still to come. And I think the final season of the Shield might have been finished before the strike. But what about The Office, My Name is Earl, the final season of Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, NCIS, The Unit, House, and so much more. Especially when the biggest proponents of the strike are those making the most, while the little guys are either getting the shaft, or are deluded enough to believe that by participating in the strike they will get noticed and hired as top tier talents. Not by actually being talents.

Now, maybe a lot of this comes from the fact that I've clawed my way to get everything I have ever gotten in my life and career, so I have no sympathy for people trying to get things the easy way. Or maybe it's because I believe if you are doing something you "love", then you'll find a way to keep doing it, but I have zero sympathy for the majority of the strikers. And I'll have even less when the big name actors and directors with the most pull get their unions to go on strike, trying to double what they get in residuals because they "deserve more" than the writers.

Hey Brad Pitt, why don't you go work at Walmart, then.
